BQ And Canonical Launch The Second Ubuntu Smartphone

Canonical launched the first Ubuntu smartphone in February this year along with Spain’s BQ. Roughly four months later, the pair is set to recreate the magic. BQ and Canonical launch the second Ubuntu smartphone this year in mid-June.Following the success of Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition earlier this year, BQ and Canonical and have jointly announced the launch of a second edition of Ubuntu smartphone.

The latest Ubuntu model based on Aquaris E5 HD marks the second collaboration between Canonical and BQ.Though it is being made by the same firm, Canonical says that the latest Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition will have a lot of improvements over the previous Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition.

The latest Ubuntu smartphone comes with a wide array of features that are sure to impress. The 5 inch display comes with IPS HD technology and a 720x 1280 pixel resolution for maximum brightness. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad Core A7 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory to provide the users a seamless and superior performance. With such specifications, watching movies, downloading and running heavy applications will be achild’s play. Additionally, it comes with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, both of which click great photos. The cameras come equipped with high quality BSI sensors and Largan lenses. Other features also include dual flash and full HD video recording. Just like other smartphones from BQ, the Aquaris E5 comes completely unlocked with dual SIM feature so that users can choose their operator of choice.

As per the firm’s statement, the phone will go on sale in Europe as for now via BQ’s online store. The smartphone will be unlocked and priced at EUR 199.90 which is around INR 12,770. The price hasn’t seen much of upgrade as the previous phone was launched at INR 12,000. It is speculated that the firm is trying to take over Android OS which is used by a majority of smartphone users. The UI of Ubuntu makes this smartphone stand out. The uncategorized home screens or scopes provide a unified view of content in any chosen category.

      bq Aquaris E4.5 but ubuntu smartphone below Rs 10,000 is not possible . Ubuntu smartphone rate will be start on Rs 12000
